Here's my contribution to the storyline I suggested.

Title : A Battle Of Honour Part 1
Cast : Velamma, Rani & Ramesh

Ramesh was searching for his lost pen in his workdesk, when he sees his old college diary. Upon flipping the page he sees an old photo of his once college sweetheart Rani Boobindu. He then gets an idea to email Rani and get in touch with her. To Ramesh's suprise Rani calls him and tells that she will be coming down to india for a visit, but her hotel room was cancelled in the last minute, so she has no place to stay. After the call, ramesh informs Vela that he would be expecting a visitor to the house.

So after a few days later... Rani calls ramesh to pick her up from the Airport. Rani then says the sale is probably for a week, but she is only going to stay for a few days and requests ramesh to help look at places just for tommorow. Vela stares at Rani meanwhile Ramesh retorts and says that he needs to actually clear up some paperwork in the morning at the office. So if there is shopping or sight seeing he can only do it late in the after noon onwards.

After the dinner, ramesh goes to check on Rani on her designated room to see if everythings is allright for bed, Rani replies it will be allright if she gets ramesh the whole day tommorow. And that he would be in a suprise if she gets to spend time with him tommorow. Smiling Ramesh says we'll see. And says goodnight.

The Next morning during breakfast both ladies are up and to ramesh shock both of them already having coffee, Ramesh then said that he'd be going to work and asked if they could discuss among themselves what is the plan after he returns from work. As Ramesh leaves, Rani says goodbye and sits in front of the tv. Just as ramesh leaves, vela slams the door shut and looks directly at Rani.

She asks vela if she is willing to pay all her flight tickets, hotel bookings and sightseeing as compensation ? Then Rani shouts at Vela saying that even during college days vela seemed to have always liked what she likes. Rani complaints that she even stole Ramesh away from her, and now she's willing to even steal her holiday happiness ? Rani then calms down and speaks in a persuasive manner. She asks vela what is she willing to do to get Ramesh to shopping with you ? Vela replies Anything.

Rani then says fine, then we will have a personal contest, between you and me. We shall see which is the Better woman among us. And the winner of this contest gets Ramesh for a day. No questions asked. But Vela has to follow her rules STRICTLY and no back talk. Winner Wins all and Loser Loses fair and square. Vela asks what type of contest, she is confident that she is better than Rani herself in whatever contest.
